Post: Encountering Jesus on Interstate 70

June 9, 2024

As the Seton Route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage carried Jesus in the pilgrim's support van (mobile chapel) from The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC along a 3.5 hour drive to Our Lady of the Alleghenies Shine in Loretto, Pennsylvania, Katherine Ball recognized that the Eucharistic Lord was present near her on Interstate 70. See her short video below.

She wrote: "Jesus in the Eucharist met me on I-70 yesterday! Driving home from DC, I was missing my deceased parents. Unexpectedly, I came upon the National Eucharistic Pilgrims' van, and the monstrance with the Eucharist. I looked into the van and saw Jesus!! I journeyed with the Lord for a special holy hour, and was filled with peace in His presence. The highway to Emmaus! My Lord, who am I that You should come to me?"
